Offering of Giving

In Mark 12:41-44 We see it means giving from your heart. Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

In Ephesians 5:2 we see it means giving all you have. And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

We are to rejoice in this act. But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. - Philippians 2:17

Giving from your heart with all you got. Sounds like loving God with all your heart, mind, body and soul to me.

How do you give as an offering to God?

Be wise today consider your offering.
