When it comes to our
salvation through Jesus Christ we must know it comes through faith and not
through works. That doesn’t get the believer off the hook as far as doing
anything. Because we are saved we are compelled to do what God wants us to do!
James 2:17

Rick Warren puts it this way,
“ Works are the fruit of Grace not the roots of grace”. It is the
process of “working out” what God has put in to us. As we serve we strengthen
the spiritual muscles God has given to all believers.
James 2:26
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Next time you look in a
mirror look a little deeper. How does your spirit look? Maybe it’s time to
start working out.
