Suffering

This week we will look at nine possible answers using Scripture to answer the question: Why Do Christians Have to Suffer?

Answer 1. To test your heart.

Proverbs 17:3 “The Lord tests the hearts.”

1 Peter 1:6-7 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

These tests are not for God’s sake, because He already knows if your faith is real or not.

Are you trying to fool somebody?

Be wise today and always – be true to God.
