Man's
weakness in accepting the truth is the devil's greatest strength.
Jesus
was very clear on what He was instructing and offering to the world. To the
Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my
disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set
you free.”
– John 8:21-32
In Luke 4:17-19, “ the
scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the
place where it is written: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has
anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim
freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the
oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
True freedom in this world
can only come from Jesus.
Be wise today and always –
accept God’s truth.
