Just Do It

Obedience is a hard. Our human nature is to rebel as proven throughout the stories in the Bible. Look at part of Noah's story as found in Genesis 7; The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”
And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.

You got to love verse 5 - Noah did what God told him! You may say, "Of course he would - the world was being destroyed". Not so fast. We sin and disobey God on a regular basis, and the world around us is falling apart. Lives are being destroyed, people are dying, and facing a Christ-less eternity. This where James and Paul would tell us to look in the mirror. Praise the Lord that He forgives us. Remember Jesus' words after forgiving, Sin no more. We should do likewise.

Be wise today and always - obedience - just do it!
