I've heard it said that as long as someone's breathing there is still hope! When it comes to believing in Jesus this is absolutely true. Look at what He says to the people ridiculing Him for associating with "sinners":
On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
But go and learn what
this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the
righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:12-13
Sometimes Christians fearfully think, that some people are too sinful
for God to forgive.
Matthew betrayed his people by becoming a
tax collector. He cheated people by collecting too much tax. He led a sinful lifestyle, but Jesus loved Matthew in spite of his sinful lifestyle.
God loves this world and does not want them to perish
in their sins. (John 3:16)
The next few days we will look at reasons we give for not sharing our faith, and the answers that can be found in the calling of Matthew as Jesus' disciple.
Be wise today and always - God loves people so should we.
