Not Saying Just Praying

As God’s People we should be all about prayer. We need to be praying for our leaders, the upcoming election, those in need, our spiritual walk, and many other things. What keeps us from it? Is it important to you?

The following is one of the Bible’s great verses on prayer. Notice the use of the word all. I think "all" is referring to your and me.

 

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. - Ephesians 6:18

 

According to Paul in his letter to the church of Ephesus how should we pray?

1.     On All Occasions. - What does this mean to you?

2.     All Kinds of Prayers. - What kind of prayers have you used?

3.     Always. - Is this true of you?

 

4.     For All the Saints. - Who does this refer to in your life?

Jim Elliot said, “God is still on His throne, we’re still His footstool, and there’s only a knee’s distance between!”

2 Chronicles 7:14 - if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
