Christmas Hope in Your Crisis

The impossible is what God does best! We see in the Gospels that a girl named Mary had a special encounter with God.

The birth of Jesus took place like this. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. Before they came to the marriage bed, Joseph discovered she was pregnant. (It was by the Holy Spirit, but he didn’t know that.) Joseph, chagrined but noble, determined to take care of things quietly so Mary would not be disgraced.-Matthew 1:18-19

This is a wonderful thing but Mary had three big potential problems:
1. She was pregnant and was not married.  She could have been put to death. This is a social or public crisis.
2. She was pregnant and Joseph was not the Father. Joseph could have felt betrayed, and told the community. This is a relational crisis.
3. She was pregnant and God is the Father. How crazy does that sound? This is a mental or spiritual crisis.

The Good News is that God wants to intervene!
"Is anything too hard for God?" - Jeremiah 32:7
"Greater is God in you than anything this world can throw at you!"1 John 4:4
Be wise today and always - allow God to solve your problems.
