Years ago a man named Paul gave his protege' some sage advice about living life God's way. Don’t let anyone look down
on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in
speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. -
1 Timothy 4:12
Our church Youth group has adopted this as a life verse for this year. It's a good choice. You know, we can learn a lot from young people. Their passion, energy, and willingness to serve can be contagious. Spend some time with a teenager this week. You'll be blessed by it.
This verse also gives great counsel to all of us (regardless of age) - watch your words and actions, love like Jesus, stay focused and make righteous choices with all you do.
Follow the plan -it will put a smile on God's face. Amen?
