I love Romans chapter 10 for many reasons. It tells us how to receive Christ as Savior and how to witness this truth to the world. Look at verses 8-9, But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
A few years ago my son who was on a mission trip worked at a VBS in Haiti. In spite of a language difficulties they were able to share the Bible's timeless truth of salvation through Christ. Praise the Lord that 71 said Yes to Christ, and are now part of our spiritual family, the church.
We are all told to be God’s witnesses for the sake of Christ. Look at verse 17, Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
We need to: 1. Know Jesus. 2. Know the Word. 3. Know how to serve and Go!
Remember to always preach Christ, if necessary use words. Amen?
