In the Middle

We also see Enoch mentioned in the book of Hebrews in the New Testament. This is where we hear again of Enoch's witness and his God pleasing life. This leads to his reward of God bringing him to heaven before death. Enoch's witness includes his believing, his behaving, and his blessings.

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. - Hebrews 11:5-6

Enoch was a humble man. I recently heard this definition of humility; "Agreeing with God about who you are". This takes us out of the center and puts Jesus there! By faith in Him we can all please God. Amen?
