To be a good
follower of Christ you must remember the Word that He taught! His teachings
were truly revolutionary…not against any government or nation…but against the
sinful philosophy of an unregenerate world.
He taught of holiness: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48.
He taught of loving your enemies: “But I say unto you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.” Luke 6:27-28.
He taught of forgiveness: “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:14.
He taught on so
much more, but if you can “master” these three you will show His light and
Truth in this dark world. Remember you can’t follow someone very well if you
don’t know them. Know and follow Jesus.
