This week in our AIG class our topic title was: We Can Know God Exists. God is the eternal Creator. His
existence makes sense of the entire universe.
Look at the evidence as found in His Word:
1 In the
beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form
and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was
hovering over the face of the waters. - Genesis 1:1–2 (Creation)
13 Then
Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God
of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what
shall I say to them?” 14 God said to Moses, “I AM who I AM.” And he said, “Say this to the
people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers,
the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to
you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout

Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples across the brook
Kidron, where there was a garden, which he and his disciples entered. 2 Now
Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with
his disciples. 3 So Judas, having procured a band of soldiers and some officers from
the chief priests and the Pharisees, went there with lanterns and torches and
weapons. 4 Then Jesus, knowing all that would happen to him, came forward and
said to them, “Whom do you seek?” 5 They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.”
Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them. 6 When Jesus said to them, “I

18 For
the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19
For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to
them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine
nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in
the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks
to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were
darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of
the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and

heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. 2 Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. 4 Their voice goes out through
all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. - Psalm 19:1–4 (Everywhere you look you can see God)
