let’s think about how words can also lead to life.

Speak of God’s gift in Christ
- Speak well of
God’s Church
- Speak to encourage other Christians.
Why should we waste time with words of death when we can speak words of life? God can use the positive things you say to reach the lost and to encourage other Christians.
We cannot speak Words of Life unless we have heard the voice of Jesus. In John chapter 6 we read about a time when the crowd who had been following Jesus decided his teachings were too hard. They got tired of listening to his voice. Jesus turned to his Twelve Disciples and asked, Do you want to leave me, too? And Simon Peter answered him: Lord, to whom shall we go? You alone have the words of eternal life. John 6:68
Do you know the voice of Jesus? Have you heard Him speak the Words of Life? When we listen to the Words of Life from the voice of Good Shepherd, we will begin to speak the same kind of words ourselves. Amen?
