Change in in a believer’s
life is expected. See what Paul has to say on the subject in his letter to the
church in Ephesus. Therefore, be
imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 And walk in love,
as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and
sacrifice to God. - Ephesians
5:1-2 (ESV)
Two Things to Know about Change:
1. God never changes.
"For I the
LORD do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed." - Malachi 3:6
2.
Believers are to change and be transformed.
1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer
your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true
and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but
be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and
approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. - Romans 12:1-2
