For the next three
days we will be praying for specific needs for the poor. We will be looking at
what God’s Word has to say and focus our daily prayers on three needs.
1. Water
Isaiah 41:17
-“The
poor and needy search for water,
but there is none their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

2. Food
Proverbs 22:9
- The
generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food
with the poor.
3. Shelter
Isaiah 25:4
- You have
been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm
and a shade from the heat.

always – pray that everyone will have their basic needs met this day and
everyday.
