There are so many pressures on us these days. As believers we
should want to be the very best at so many duties and titles we have: Husband,
Wife, Mom, Dad, Son, Daughter, Brother, Sister, Worker, Christian, Neighbor,
Friend, etc.. Let’s be honest it wears you out, and when can feel defeated.
In Matthew 6:33 Jesus instructs us to: Seek the Kingdom of
God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you
need.
We need to focus on just one thing – being a man or woman of God
who loves and follows Him with all our heart. Then everything else will fall in
to place. You cannot be the “best” at any of those things mentioned above
unless you are right with God.
Take a deep breath, say “Thank You Jesus”, and work on that
relationship. You’ll be amazed how things will fall in to place when you get
that one right.
Wise up – love God with
all you got.
