Psalm 133:1
says: How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in
unity! “When brothers live together in unity,” is also call
“community”. King David, the writer of this psalm, is speaking much more about
living together in a tight, communal relationship than simply keeping peace and
not arguing or having discord.
This is God's desire for
His church! It is not about just going to church, but about becoming the
church. We need take a genuine interest in the lives of
others. We must care, share, and pray for each other every day.
My Christian journey has
taken me to foreign countries, from Ohio to the east coast, and from Jersey to
the heartland of Indiana. In all my travels, I have come to realize that it's
not about location. It's about the God's church.
Be the church - live in
unity - put a smile on God's face. It takes work and focus, but it’s
really worth it.
Amen?
