The Be Still in Psalm 46:10 can be taken as a
comfort and a warning.
It can mean to say, “Enough”. Look at
Habakkuk 2:20 ; The Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth
be silent before him.
Time to be still and listen to what God has to say
about our lives and purpose. “All the earth” – that means all of us. We
need to say; Enough of the noise, sin, pride, halfheartedness, fighting,
lying, stealing, and selfishness.
We
need to FOCUS on God. It’s all about God – not about us.
Be
wise - say ENOUGH to the things not of God today and everyday.
