We are all so busy these
days. We all have to earn a living, but God’s Word has something to say about what
business we should be involved in. Jesus said in John 15:15, "I no
longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business.
Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my
Father I have made known to you."
I find this verse one of
great comfort and assurance. Jesus has made everything we need to know available
to us. We are not in bondage, but free to be about God’s business. He will give
us all the wisdom, knowledge, direction, provision, and protection we need.
What a friend we have in
Jesus! Amen?
