Can a dead person be
used to serve God?
According to Paul that
because of God's great mercy we are to offer ourselves as "living
sacrifices" in Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge
you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a
living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper
worship.
God has called all believers
to "die to self" and find new life in Christ. A sacrificial life is one focused on doing
life God's way according to His plans and purposes.
Romans
12:2 challenges us to, Do not conform to the pattern of this
world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able
to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Be changed in to the man or
woman of God that follows and obeys His Word.
Be wise today and always -
live for Christ by dying to self.
