Love Like That

The world will tell you many things that are not true like: there are many ways to heaven or that there is no God. Jesus said in John 15:26, "When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father He will testify about Me." The Holy Spirit speaks the truth. The only way to God, the Father is through Jesus Christ the Son.

So why do “we” have a hard time grasping this? There are probably many answers to this but boils down to what’s called free will. In His infinite wisdom and great love God lets us choose what to believe!

This has led to disappointment. From the beginning he gave Adam and Eve one rule. That should be pretty easy… but they broke it and sin came to humanity. I have thought many times why didn’t God just make us obedient with no choices. But then what kind of love would that be?

Today let’s try to love God like He loves us. It may be impossible but it will be a journey of a lifetime.
