Greater than Solomon

Over the last nine weeks we have followed the life of Solomon, and his search for wisdom. We have learned some crucial lessons on the meaning of life, and how to live life well. Even though we may slip and fall, God wants us to get back up like Solomon did. 13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. 14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14) At the end of his very full life, Solomon, says it comes down to fearing God with awe and wonder, and being obedient to His Word. The Lord knows everything about us. There are no secrets we can keep from Him. He desires us to have wisdom and fulfillment in life.

Godly wisdom is shown in the areas of: faith, hope, trust, love, obedience, and focus.

Faith – in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and that God’s ways are the best
Hope – can only be found in Christ for eternity and today
Trust – in God for direction, protection, and provision
Love – the Lord God with everything you have
Obedience – follow his Word and plan for your life
Focus – keep your eyes on the things of God

Are we showing wisdom?

Have a good Godly day.
