We see the relevance of the resurrection of
Jesus Christ in Acts 2:22-24.
22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of
Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs,
which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23 This man was
handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with
the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24 But
God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it
was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.
Mankind’s problem is that we
have a spiritual disease called sin.
For
Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring
you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit. – 1
Peter 3:18
Salvation comes down to
personal acceptance.
But
when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because
of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through
the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us
generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by
his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.–
Titus 3:4-7
We all can have a new beginning.
God
made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the
righteousness of God. – 2 Corinthians 5:21
Be wise today and always –
take Christ rule your heart.
