4 Steps to take once you’re saved
1. Identify
with Christ through Baptism –
Matthew 28:18-20 Then
Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been
given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them
to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to
the very end of the age.”
2. Be
Committed to Faithful Church Attendance – Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the
habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see
the Day approaching.
3. Worship the Lord through
Prayer and Bible Study – Psalm
19:9-11 The
fear of the LORD is pure, enduring
forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and
altogether righteous. They are more precious than
gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from
the comb. By them is your servant warned; in
keeping them there is great reward.
4. Share Your
Faith – Romans 1:16-17 I am not ashamed
of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who
believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a
righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first
to last just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
