I have been using the songs in the Psalms for my text during Advent, and have really enjoyed it. We've been looking at songs here as well. This French song was written by Adolphe Adam
in 1847. Here is a literal English translation:

The song is better known by the title O Holy Night! Both
versions tell us the story of God’s plan of redemption, and what our response
should be – Worship, Praise, and Adoration! Read or sing either version, but
make sure you listen to the words.
