Hope for the Unlovely

Sometimes Christians are reluctant to share there faith because they believe that people are not interested in the Gospel of Christ and will not respond. Matthew 9:9 says, As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.)

Jesus looked deeply into Matthew’s lonely life and spoke to him.

Matthew followed Jesus immediately and invited others: the poor, the tax collectors, and sinners.

People try to hide their needs so others do not see them. But Jesus sees, and He knows how to help those who are hurting.

A wise Pastor once encouraged his church with, Love the unlovely.

Aren't you glad Jesus loves you?

Be wise today and always - love the world and the unlovely.
