I love this quote by Matthew Henry concerning Jeremiah’s
call and commission: Because he had no
reason to fear the wrath of men if he were faithful; for the God whom he served
would protect him, and bear him out, so that they should neither sink his
spirits nor drive him off from his work, should neither stop his mouth nor take
away his life, till he had finished his testimony.
Two things he (we) must consider:
Our calling – your vocation
in Christ.
Our commission –
sharing the Gospel with the world.
Our "fear" in life should not be of man, but of the Lord. When God is in it no man can stand against it! Amen?
Be wise today and always - serve God faithfully every day.
