This week we will look at nine possible answers using
Scripture to answer the question: Why
Do Christians Have to Suffer?
Answer 8. To strengthen you
for greater trials.
2 Corinthians 12:10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in
insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak,
then I am strong.
Hebrews 11:33-34 who through faith
conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who
shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge
of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in
battle and routed foreign armies.
The more you are
tested and refined by trials, the more effective you’ll be in serving the Lord.
Be wise today
always – give thanks and praise through the trials.
