Abraham Lincoln said, You
cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong”.
This quote has great global
and political implications. We also need to keep in mind the spiritual battle
which is going on all around us. It can seem sometime that the world appears to
be getting stronger, and wants to weaken believers and God’s church. We must
remember Isaiah 41:10:
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I
will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
The Bible reminds us time and
time again that - I can do all
things through Christ
who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13
Be wise today and always –
find your strength in the Lord.
