A Glorious Future

I love this verse, “Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 Thank you God for grace!

I also love the book of Micah’s whose name means – Who is like the Lord. In Ephesians 5:1-2 we are called to - “Be imitators of God”, so I guess we should pay attention to what he has to say!

Chapters 6 and 7 of Micah it shows us a Sanctifying Savior.

Here Are Four Points to Consider:

1. God’s Case against Israel – 6:1-2 God is looking for an ethical response with Conviction!

2. God’s Compassion for Israel – 6:3-9…even in the midst of trials, troubles, chaos, hard times, and confusion He is compassionate – Each person makes their own decision.

Jesus quotes Micah 7:6 in teaching Matthew 10:32--39

3. God’s Conversion of Israel – 7:11-20 – A new Day! Our conversion experience is found in Romans 10:9, If you confess Jesus as Lord!

4. God’s Care for all Humanity – Confession leads to Confidence 7:7-10 It’s all about God’s glory – His way not ours…  Do you follow the King of Glory? …The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?  Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Psalm 24:1-8

Always give God the glory…
