God is trying to get our attention. Do we know His Word?
In Matthew 22:29: Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. The cutting edge is lost when we do not know the Bible and It’s power. God is trying to get our attention. Have we submitted to His righteousness?
Paul wrote in Romans 10:2-3: For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
Many have allowed Christianity and Ministry to become a hobby, an interest… But God is trying to get our attention – we are to be people of passion! We must have growth, enthusiasm, be committed, cheerful givers, and have JOY!
May God give us our passion and commitment back.
Pray today, “Lord, You have my attention – I may have fallen, but I can get back up – with passion.” Amen.
