Yesterday
we learned of the five crowns promised in the Bible:
The
Incorruptible Crown
Crown
of Rejoicing
Crown
of Life
Crown
of Righteousness
Crown of Glory
What should be our goal?
I want to know Christ
and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in
his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain
to the resurrection from the dead.
- Philippians 3:10-11
Sounds like our goals should
be to accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, be in an intimate relation with
Him, and be about His business. The crowns are nice, but in the end we lay them
at His feet in worship.
Be wise today and always –
set good goals.
