Jesus has many names, but these three
mentioned in the first five verses of the Gospel of John are of the utmost
importance.
In the beginning was the
Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him
nothing was made that has been made. In
him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness has not overcome it. - John
1:1-5
Consider these questions:
Where
is the Word placed in my life?
How
is the life of Christ seen in me?
What
evidence of Christ’s light is there in my life?
Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life
came to this world to make a difference in all our lives.
