Approval

I am so happy to know so many recent graduates. It gives me hope that our American workforce can be great again. I am concern though, of the lack of enthusiasm to become more educated about God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, the Bible, and the Church by believers, church leaders, and ministers. God deserves our best and we have fallen way short of the mark. The Bible is very clear on God’s heart and expectations. Here are several versions of 2 Timothy 2:15.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. (NASB)

Make every effort to give yourself to God as the kind of person he will approve. Be a worker who is not ashamed and who uses the true teaching in the right way. (NCV)

Work hard so God can say to you, “Well done.” Be a good workman, one who does not need to be ashamed when God examines your work. Know what his Word says and means. (TLB)

Give your life totally to Christ. Ask His Holy Spirit to fill and guide your life. Seek out wise mentors and teachers. Take advantage of small groups, classes, Bible studies, good Biblical preaching, conferences, and advance college level studies. Understand and strive to be the man or woman of God you should be. He deserves nothing less.

"Wisdom is supreme; therefore, get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding." Psalm 4:7

Amen?
