It is a believer’s duty, honor, and
privilege to serve and worship the One true God with reverence and awe. God's
Word says in Psalm 2:11, "Serve the
Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling".
Many times, we are tempted to not follow
God’s plan, or make excuses for our disobedience. Jesus answered the temptation
of Satan with Scripture, Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your
God and serve him only.’” - Luke 4:8
The opposite of fear is faith - believing
in, and doing things the Lord’s way. Don’t be afraid of what God will do to you
– be afraid of what you are not doing for Him. Amen?
