We talk a lot about our
friends and family to church but how do we feel about inviting other people?
Let’s look at 2 Kings 5:1–3, Now Naaman was commander of
the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and
highly regarded, because through him the Lord had
given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy. Now
bands of raiders from Aram had gone out and had taken captive a young girl from
Israel, and she served Naaman’s wife. She said to her
mistress, “If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would
cure him of his leprosy.”
People
who meet Jesus are so moved by Him that they want to introduce everyone to him,
including those who don’t care about them. We need to have the same kind of
compassion as this slave girl. Even in captivity she still believed in the
power of God.
Who do
you know that needs God's healing touch?
Remember
to share God's love and invite someone to church. Amen?
