Giving It to God

King David, a man after God's own heart was an expert in asking God for forgiveness and restoration. Look at the craving he had for the right relationship with God. As we enter in to this time focused on Thanksgiving remember to whom all thanks and praise is due.

Psalm 107: 1-9 - Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say this-- those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south  Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

Psalm 34:8 - Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.  God doesn’t want us to just have knowledge of Him, but have intimate relationship with Him.

Psalm 27:1 -The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?

What areas of your life need restoration?

Be wise today and always - be strong in the Lord.
