Today
let's look at the third truth about worship.
Worship
is a verb.
Romans
12:1 - Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s
mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to
God—this is your true and proper worship.
It’s
not a noun that describes a person, place, or thing. It’s a verb that describes
an action you should do with every breath you take.
Colossians
3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as if you were working
for the Lord and not for a person.” That’s worship.
Romans
12:1 in the Message, “… Take your everyday, ordinary life—your
sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before
God as an offering (an act of worship).” That’s how you worship!
Today
and every day- worship God with all you have. Amen?
