When a
believer’s prayer life isn’t focused then they are in trouble! Start by
praying: “Search me, God, and know my
heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in
me, and lead me
in the way everlasting.” - Psalm
139:23-24
God wants us to pray, but the devil seeks to hinder us.
We are told in Isaiah 59:1–2: “Surely the
arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But
your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his
face from you, so that he will not hear”.
The way to forgiveness is also given in God's Word:“ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:10
