Statistics tell us that
most believers never lead another person to faith in Christ. Ironically we are
all commissioned to share the Gospel with the world around us. What stops
us? One of the big reasons I hear is, I am not trained to tell people about
Jesus, so it is too hard for me to do.
Let's look at an example
of sharing from Matthew 9:10; While
Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners
came and ate with him and his disciples.
Matthew used what he had to introduce others to Jesus Christ: his home, his food, and his relationships. He did not forget his old associates (tax collectors, sinners, family, friends, and neighbors). He shared what he found in Jesus, and it was a powerful witness for Jesus Christ.
If you know Jesus then you know enough - tell someone today. Be proactive - share what you know to be true. Amen?
