If we want to have the
blessing of God on our churches, we need to do what the early church did in
Acts chapters 1-2. Jesus tells us to Go! In order to fulfill the Great Commission the
church must reach our communities for Christ!
Look at the results of the first
sermon of Peter after being filled with the Holy Spirit in Acts 2:40-41; With many other words he
warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt
generation.” 41 Those who accepted his
message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that
day.
Talk
about a great altar call! All of us are told to share the Good news of Jesus
Christ with the world around us. That could mean in your home, neighbors,
friends, relatives, co-workers, students, or strangers!
Evangelism is not an option.
Be
wise today and always reach your world for Christ.
