If we want to have the
blessing of God on our churches, we need to do what the early church did in
Acts chapters 1-2.
To be blessed by God, the church
must employ every member’s talents. Take a look at Jesus’ followers in Acts 2:1-4; When the day of Pentecost
came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a
sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole
house where they were sitting. They
saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each
of them. All of them were
filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongue] as
the Spirit enabled them. and Acts 2:21; And everyone who calls on the name of the
Lord will be saved.
All 120 members of that first
church were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they changed the world by using
the gifts and power from God. Today is no different. The church is called the
body of Christ. We must all function together in unison to
receive God’s blessing.
Today pray for unity in the
church, and that we work together. God will surely bless us. Amen?
