If we want to have the blessing of God on our
churches, we need to do what the early church did in Acts chapters 1-2. If we really desire to
have god’s blessing we must worship Him with joy. Consider
the early church in Acts
2:46-47; Every day they continued
to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate
together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising
God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their
number daily those who were being saved.
God’s
people came together every day! Their whole lives were focused on “loving God
with all their hearts mind body and soul.”
Isn’t
this true worship? Expressing our love and devotion to God in everything
that we do is worship. Praising God, being together as one cohesive body, and
doing His will – now that’s a great church!
Do
you see what the outcome is to this kind of lifestyle?
People
noticed and responded. The church grew every day! Every believer should desire
this type of relationship and fellowship. God will bless it. Amen?
