If we want to have the
blessing of God on our churches, we need to do what the early church did in
Acts chapters 1-2. There was a common theme in the
first church that God so richly blessed, and the willingness to sacrifice.
Take a look at this in Acts 2:44-45; All the believers were together and had everything in
common. 45 They sold property and
possessions to give to anyone who had need.)
Wow! What a concept – to make sure no one is in
need they gave freely and abundantly to the church to care for each other. This
can only happen when we start living like the first part of the passage; All the believers were
together and had everything in common.
Do you feel that the church
has come together and share things in common with one another?
It is probably one of the great detriments of the
church, and we are called hypocrites. Let us pray and act with one mind and
heart – Jesus’. Amen?
