God
knows where you are at. Look at Deuteronomy
31:6 - Be
strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he
will never leave you nor forsake you.”
We
recently hosted at my church the Men of Honor Simulcast. It came from the church
in Georgia that made the movies Courageous and Fireproof. Here are
some of the notes I took on being courageous.
What
do you do in the face of adversity/trouble?

don't run from it

face it with God's power
-
God is faithful - stand firm - Job 5:7: Yet man is
born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward.
This is a call to
courage!
What
is courage? – You exercise this when
you are scared, and comes from the presence and power of God in your life.
The
world gives us fake love - fake battles - fake leadership - fake spirituality -
All
of us need to love, fight, lead, and worship like Jesus
Be
wise today and always – let God make you courageous.
