If we want to have the blessing of God on our
churches, we need to do what the early church did in Acts chapters 1-2.
In order to be blessed by God we must use everyone’s language.
Look in Acts 2:5-8; Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from
every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came
together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being
spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they
asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them
in our native language?
What languages do people
speak today besides their native tongues?
Every culture has a language
that is unique to them. Don’t forget about people’s backgrounds, age, and
education. We also have a “technical” language being spoken on the internet,
texting, twitter, blogging, videos, etc.
Be wise today and always –
speak the right language.
