Tell Me

Recently someone said to me that they would be obedient to anything that God told them to do. The problem was that they felt they were not hearing God clearly. We prayed for open ears, mind, and heart. Listening clearly to God is hard at times. Make sure you are open and in communication (prayer) with Him constantly. Search God's Word for direction. Here are some verse that might help.

Psalm 138:8 The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever—do not abandon the works of your hands.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought  and never fails to bear fruit.”
John 10:14-15, 27 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—  just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.>> My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
Ephesians 4:15-16  “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
James 1:5-8  If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.  But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.  That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.  Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

Listen to His voice through His Word, and be guided by the Holy Spirit.
