We see in Joel that even
the valley of judgment is called the valley of decision, Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the
Lord is near in the valley of decision (3:14). God is indeed, “slow to
anger and abounding in loving-kindness”.
The
Lord blesses us and shows great grace by His willingness to forgive. Forgiveness
should lead us to repentance which leads to restoration. If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all
unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9
What are some ways we can better share God’s grace with our world?
Jesus
offers a forgiveness that has no boundaries, prejudices, or limitations to
everyone who claims Him as Lord. Be ready for The Day of the Lord. Allow Him to bless you beyond measure and
forgive your sins completely. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from
the west, so far
has he removed our transgressions from us. - Psalm
103:11-12
How
does this promise make you feel?
Is it easy to accept? Why or Why not?
The
Day of the Lord should be recognized by all Christ followers. Present,
immediate future and eternity are all held in the Lord’s hand. God always
blesses His children. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also
set eternity in the
human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. – Ecclesiastes 3:11
