The 40 Days in the Word
experience has been wonderful. Rick Warren reminded us recently about the words
of Jesus found in the Gospel of John.
John 15:7 “If you
remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask whatever you wish, and it
will be given you!”
Remaining in Christ produces answered prayers! Prayer can do anything God
can do! But don’t expect a $1000 answer to a 10cent prayer! Pray according to
God’s will and Christ’s plan for your life. By knowing the Word you will live
for His purposes.
Look at the word “Whatever”
in the text. Does Jesus really mean this?
Sure he does, but that is for
those who are In Him. If God doesn’t give you what you ask for
don’t worry He always has something better for you.
Here is the key to your
prayer request. Don’t ask God for what you think is good for you. Ask God for
what HE thinks is good for you! Be ready to be amazed.
Be wise today and always – do
whatever the Lord tells you.
